Internships

International Technology and Trade Associates Inc. (ITTA) accepts applications from graduate students and recent post-graduates in the field of international affairs for paid internships.  Specific interests ITTA finds desirable include science and technology policy, aerospace and defense policy, energy policy and related specializations, and U.S. trade and investment policy. We seek serious, responsible individuals who desire real world experience in a professional environment.

ITTA provides a wide range of professional services in support of our clients’ goals, including objective research, informed analysis, and the design and implementation of effective business strategies. ITTA serves a variety of U.S. and international clients in the areas of international trade and investment, government relations, foreign policy, as well as domestic and international developments in a range of industries.

Internships at ITTA are structured to provide the student with valuable experience by working with ITTA professional staff in serving the needs of our clients. A commitment of at least 20 hours per week is preferred, with flexible scheduling during normal business hours.

The position primarily involves substantive research, analysis, and writing. Interns should be prepared to create reports and other client deliverables. Less than one quarter of the tasks assigned will involve administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and telephone reception.
