Shay Singh - Analyst
As an analyst, Shay Singh's research portfolio includes East Asian countries, trading regimes and multilateral institutions. She focuses on the Northeast Asian region, primarily on political, economic and social developments in China. Ms. Singh also conducts research on a number of other countries in Southeast Asia, Africa and South America. She reports on the World Trade Organization, US bilateral trade agreements and various barriers to trade such as export controls. Her recent projects include an assessment of Chinese "soft power", a review of ongoing US trade negotiations and periodic evaluations of political and social conditions in East Asian and African countries.
Before joining ITTA, Ms. Singh worked as a staff assistant to the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. She holds a Masters of Arts in International Affairs concentrated in Technology and International Affairs from George Washington University and a Bachelors of Science in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology. |
